A farm with deep roots

Finca Amaviora was born from the conviction that land can nourish both people and the planet. In Santo Tomas, El Salvador, we grow more than food — we grow community.

35 acres of living land

Finca Amaviora unfolds across 35 acres in Canton el Guaje, Santo Tomas, where volcanic soils and native shade trees create ideal conditions for quality farming. This land has been worked with care and intention for years, and today it's embarking on a new chapter — one focused on giving back more than it takes.

What we grow

Coffee, cacao, avocado, mango, and seasonal vegetables thrive together across the farm. We work under organic principles — no synthetic chemicals, compost-based fertility, and natural pest management — so every harvest is as good for the land as it is for the people who enjoy it. Our shade-grown coffee and native-variety cacao are the pride of the farm.

Transitioning to regenerative

We're actively transitioning to regenerative agriculture — a philosophy that goes beyond simply avoiding harm and instead focuses on actively restoring the health of the land. We're building living ground cover, establishing agroforestry systems, and improving water management to deepen soil health and expand biodiversity. When you visit, you're witnessing this transformation firsthand.

The people behind the farm

Finca Amaviora is a family project led by Brent & Beth Comstock, alongside a team of local farmworkers who have known this land for generations. We believe that genuine hospitality grows from pride in where you live, and that's what we want every guest to feel — that they've been welcomed somewhere truly cared for.
